Laurie's Class 4 entry with award ribbon

Laurie won first prize for her Class 4 entry at a recent area flower show.

Laurie has never entered a floral contest, yet with her floral entry she won the Class 4 first prize at the Southern California Garden Club’s Flower Show.  The flower show had a miniature division, entitled “It’s a Small World”.  The floral entries could not exceed 8 inches in height.  Laurie took home the win with her Blue Blossom miniature floral design.

The Southern California Garden Club has been operating since 1927 and was involved in the foundation of California Garden Clubs, Inc.
