Who We Are
The Sunshine Garden Club is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, all volunteer club in the Santa Clarita Valley. We are dedicated to the education of our members in horticulture, gardening, floral and landscape design. Our programs and speakers further our member’s interest in California’s plants and wildlife and their role in the natural beauty of our state.
What We Do
Our club has monthly meetings with speakers that inform us about topics that help us plan, plant and deter pests in our gardens.
Volunteers from our club teach elementary school students how to plant and harvest vegetables and flowers. Our club donated garden-related books to the school’s library as a teaching aid for volunteers.
Club volunteers helped the City of Santa Clarita plant shrubs at Heritage Park.
Our club enjoys an annual field trip to gardens in Los Angeles County and one craft meeting each year.
