Members Rose Scordina and Barbara Dallis have been busy teaching and working with both Pinetree and Sulphur Spring elementary students on how to grow a successful garden. They even had to detour a sneaky opossum. As a result, their school garden project is producing yummy vegetables and flowers. In their first role as “Garden Angels”, Judi Burkhartsmeyer, Deb Komar and Debra Harrington went to Colleen Shaffer’s home to pick apples, deadhead roses and weed her garden.
